But here's the thing: finding out what's actually happening? That was hard. Events buried in Instagram stories. New spots opening with zero fanfare. Cool stuff happening that you only hear about the day after.
So we started The Shway.
Every week, we dig through the noise — the venue accounts, the group chats, the word-of-mouth — and put together one email with everything worth knowing. The events that are actually good. The new places before they get crowded. The stuff that makes living here feel like living here.
"Shway" means "a little" in Arabic. It's what you say when someone offers you tea. It's the vibe of this place — no rush, take your time, enjoy it.
